Lauren C. Berman, LICSW

I believe in human resilience and the power of therapy. I work collaboratively with clients using an approach that combines strength’s-based, narrative, solution focused, relational, cognitive, and family systems therapy. I enjoy working with people dealing with life transitions, chronic illness/disabilities, divorce and remarriage, career/academic dilemmas as well as many other issues. I take most health insurance and I prefer to see people with flexible schedules who can come during the day.

In addition to working at Tapestry, I work part time at Children’s Hospital, where I supervise staff and graduate level social workers. I also teach courses at Boston University School of Social Work in clinical social work, family therapy, human behavior, health and illness, and social work ethics. In addition to individual, couple, and family therapy, I provide clinical supervision and consultation services.
