Elizabeth Anderson, LICSW, has a background in counseling
psychology and clinical social work and has been practicing in the
Greater Boston area since 1989. A former senior staff member of
the Cambridge Youth Guidance Center, Elizabeth is a skilled family
and couples therapist who specializes in cross cultural work with
Portuguese speaking families and in group work. Elizabeth's expertise
includes, but is not limited to, work with depression and anxiety,
issues concerning eating & body image, women in relationships,
and substance abuse and treatment.
Lauren C. Berman, LICSW, has been with Tapestry
since 1988. She specializes in women's health issues,
depression, trauma, ACOA, parenting, and bereavement. She runs a long-term women's therapy group
at Tapestry. She is
also a Senior Clinician at Children's Hospital where she works people
with genetic illness, blood disorders, and disabilities.
Beryl Minkle, LICSW, brings extensive experience
to her work with individuals, couples, parents and children, exploring the dynamics of relationships and group process.
Additionally, she is a mediator, who also consults to schools, businesses
and community organizations around conflict resolution and organizational
concerns. An artist and writer, Beryl works with issues of creativity
and offers stress management, guided meditation and mind-body work.
She chairs the Consultation Group for Mental Health Professionals in Mediation (originally at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard University), and is the former Director of Counseling Services for the Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, MA.
Nancy Reed, LICSW, has
been with Tapestry since 1983. She specializes in bereavement work,
ACOA, recovery from addiction, parenting, and issues of lesbian
life. She has run Grief Groups for lesbians coping with the loss
of a partner, family member or friend. A research associate for
the National Lesbian Family Study, she was recently published in
the American Journal of Orthopsychiatry.
Debby Rosenkrantz, LICSW, has
experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups
around issues of trauma, substance abuse, eating disorders, infertility,
gay, lesbian, and transgender issues. She also is a trained mediator
specializing in gay and lesbian families.
